We got 17 overs in against Esso before the skies opened & washed us out. I won the toss & sent Esso in. They reached 0-58 as we dropped 3 catches, all off Wrendon's bowling. The first from Ledge was possibly the easiest catch to be dropped all year by our safest pair of hands. Impressive opening spells from Wrendon & Hector while Watto & Nick looked dangerous on a pitch keeping very low.

MOM - Wrendon - great spell & unlucky not to have 3 wickets.

COTD - Joint to the slip cordon (Tex & Hogg) who both could have taken the sitter that Ledge ended up dropping but took the soft option & let Ledge take the heat.

POTD - Ledge for cracking the first beer.

Early finishes are always dangerous & this one proved to be no different. After the esky was cleaned out & fine bottle dealt with we moved on to Stingers & got stung. Dickie was the dominant player in the pong competition but with the prize for winning each game being a beer bong, his game quickly tailed off. Incidents included 1 Kiwi being thrown in the pool, resulting in cuts on nose, forehead & chin, 1 skipper being tackled into garden & removing 2 shrubs and a not so fine display of pole dancing on the light post by various offenders.
